Penny's Pride Memory Ride

Join us for a day... 

At the age of 60 our mother, Janet “Penny” Koske, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.  With the help of family, friends and some very wonderful caregivers, we were able to care for her at home for most of the 10 years she suffered with this debilitating disease.  During this time the South Hadley Council on Aging was a great resource for information on how to provide care to an Alzheimer’s patient.  The information and support received from the Alzheimer’s Support Group was a tremendous help in proving us with information on caring for Mom and giving our father support during these trying times. 

 

All of the funds raised from the Penny’s Pride Memory Ride will be donated to the Council on Aging with the hopes that they can continue to provide this service to other families in our community who are dealing with a loved one with this devastating disease.
